When we opened Nexus 38 in El Médano, the plan was clear in our heads: a good place to work, kitesurf lessons with IKO-certified instructors, and a safe spot for people to store their kite and wingfoil gear. Desks, wind, community. That was it.

A podcast was never on the list. And yet, here we are, proudly hosting Vitamina Podcast, created by Ștefania Furceanu and her team.

What Vitamina Podcast is about

Vitamina is a podcast about evidence-based medicine and health. In each episode, Ștefania sits down with doctors and specialists to talk honestly about health topics that matter to all of us, always grounded in evidence and not in hype.

In a world full of health advice from every direction, I love that this podcast does the opposite of shouting. It slows down, asks good questions, and lets the experts explain.

How it happened

Honestly? It happened the way most good things happen here. You share a coffee with someone, you talk about what you are building, and at some point one of you says, “why don’t we do this together?”

When we met the Vitamina team, we immediately clicked. They bring curiosity, rigor, and real conversations. We bring a calm, bright space with good light, and good Wi-Fi. It just made sense.

What we’ve learned from this

When you open a coworking, you think you are opening a workspace. What you are really opening is a door. People come in to work on their laptops, and slowly they start sharing ideas, projects, and plans. Some of those ideas grow into things nobody had planned.

We built Nexus 38 for people to work, learn kitesurfing, and meet each other. Seeing it become the home of a podcast about evidence-based health is one of those surprises that makes all the effort worth it.
